Recipe

As a special treat for our friends and customers -- a recipe that does not require cooking:

Sauce Ragland

to accompany cold meats such as duck breast, cold turkey, roast beef or lamb. Also great as a party dip with avocados, veggies, cocktail sausages...

Mix 2 measure units of mayonnaise (e.g. Hellman's) with 1 unit of kefir or plain yoghurt, add some onion juice (press coarsely chopped onion through garlic press), plus enough tomato ketchup to turn the sauce faintly pinkish, and enough turmeric powder to turn the pinkish sauce slightly orange. Add a small quantity of ground fennel seeds plus salt, garlic and red pepper to suit your taste.

Fennel seeds can be found in health food stores, Hispanic or Indian ethnic groceries. Powder the seed in a food grinder. Buon appetito!
